THIS HAS BEEN SO BORING. THESE WARM AND DRY FALLS ARE SO BAD. IT IS SO DRY OUT THERE. NO RAIN IS COMING FOR AT LEAST ANOTHER WEEK. MAYBE TWO. IS THIS EVER GOING TO STOP?
Nope! Not right now it is not. The models continue to run much drier than normal through Columbus Day Weekend and into the middle of October. Easily. Rainfall totals based off the Euro AI don’t show anyone in Upstate NY getting 1″ of rain in the next 2 1/2 weeks. That is sad. So expect the drought conditions to continue to worsen. Seriously.
At some point something will break. Either this pattern or something. I can’t think of much else to say right now. It’s about as bad as the weather could look for now…but…the season is still 90 days away. 3 months for most. For the Adirondacks and Tug Hill between 65 and 75 days to go. These days fly by fast. Next thing you know, the world could change, But until then, it will not.
