After a few inches of snow squalls today, it is turning BITTER COLD! Certainly the coldest since last winter. Here are some of the statewide records in Jeopardy for tomorrow:

Syracuse: 0
Albany: 2
Binghamton: 5
No matter what happens, the lows tomorrow morning will be a VERY CLOSE CALL. It’s already dark in Upstate NY and these are where temperatures are right now!

Stick and stay with me through this rough and tumble pattern. There’s a lot more cold bottled up in Canada that’s waiting to come bearing down on us at any time. And it looks like it will every few days. First this cold snap is short as we are back near freezing this weekend. But as they say: NOT FOR LONG
Snowfall, more lake effect, and possibly more squalls with a few inches of accumulation. Then the next big blast of arctic air comes on down. This one just as good as the last one we got:
Then next week we get into SNOWMOBILE SEASON! At least in parts of the Tug Hill and Adirondacks we do. We have several things we want to write about this but our time is short. In fact it has been incredibly short these last several days and we apologize for that. Just be patient with us. We are figuring out what we are going to do with this.
