Uh Oh! We have tons of more snow and POWDER on the way over this weekend! Snowdeo is today so if you want to get up here, GET UP HERE! Otherwise unless you want to join the thousands that will certainly crash on down to the Adirondacks and Tug Hill this weekend, stay home! It will certainly be that busy from what we can tell! Snowfall amounts will be significant especially downwind of Lake Erie and especially Lake Ontario with up to AN ADDITIONAL 2 FEET POSSIBLE! This is December. Mother Nature: she is not fooling around!

1 PM TODAY

Snow showers from the weak clipper out ahead of the storm in Central and Eastern NY. Closer to the Canadian Border will be a path of a short but significant BURST of snow. This could end up prompting snow squall warnings tomorrow. Be ready for it just in case. It turns windy on the back side of this.

10 PM TONIGHT

Snow showers and snow squalls, some of which will be heavy at times, will be downwind of Lake Erie and particularly downwind of Lake Ontario. With breezy to windy conditions setting up, and looking at all other factors, it is looking solid for a short but significant lake effect event, especially downwind of Lake Ontario. This continues into Sunday Morning and will die off during the afternoon then be gone by Sunday Night.

4 PM MONDAY

We are getting hit with our next clipper system. This one will be light, however, do watch the lake effect coming off of the lake, particularly Ontario, after this event. It will bring some lake snows into Tuesday

10 AM WEDNESDAY

The lake snows end. I will just say, this has been a very long stretch of clipper, lake effect, clipper, lake effect, with us turning out so many forecasts I think you were starting to lose track of them. Or just lose them! But it is in the middle to end of next week, the worm finally turns. Its a pattern shift. We will not be stuck in clippers and lake effect after this point. We will be on to new things.
