Some stuff? Yes absolutely but not shutting the place down either. For the most part if you need to get somewhere today, you can get somewhere. Just watch where you are going and keep an eye out on the radar!

It’s these areas as of the time this report was put together that had gotten the most snow so far. I don’t have numbers. Yet. I will have numbers based on measurements taken later today and especially tonight and through Wednesday. Tomorrow on New Year’s Eve will be a big day with the secondary cold front coming on down. Expect widespread snow in the afternoon and evening tomorrow. So if your accumulations are falling behind what the forecasted posted is, just remember, mine is until the ball drops. After we ring in 2026, you can yell at me for being too high or too low.

It will be cold afterwards with continuing snow showers Thursday and Friday, but not as much as today and especially tomorrow. By the weekend Mr. Sunshine returns! It will not get warm (above freezing) but it would be a treat to see the sun. This weekend for the kids last two days of Christmas Break before heading back to school, that will work good!

Hold on! We have about another 36-48 hours of the worst of this snow to get through before we can calm down and relax over the first few days of 2026!
