We’ve got snow to talk about! It’s sad in January in these parts you get excited with 2″-5″ on the snowmap for Tug Hill and the Adirondacks… but at least the first half of the winter of 2019-20 is being defined this way… A hunting season that would have been glorious had it been snowmobile

Snow returns today! NOT ALL IS LOST. THERE WILL BE RIDING OPPORTUNITIES NEXT WEEK! This pattern change we called for will hit starting today and means through Thursday, for the next 5 days at least, we will mainly be adding to the snow and bringing in the cold. We will be in rebuilding mode. Yeah

Yes good news heading into next week in the short term but indications are now very strong that this pattern change next week is not going to hold. It’s enough to make your stomach churn as you will see in the details. Mine has been literally the last 36 hours which had me wiped out

The forecast snowfall later this evening into tomorrow for the snowbelt areas is still on schedule. I’m going to stick and stay with my snowfall forecast from yesterday with these caveats: Yes some parts of the hill will likely break 10″. If they do i’m thinking localized 12-16″ amounts on the hill proper, probably not
