The Morning Blog is brought to you by Kaosog Trails in Oswego County, NY where the trails are currently open but you are asked to please ride with care due to low snow conditions. Formed in 1974 the purposes of the Kasoag Trailblazers are to stimulate and advance the general welfare and safety of snowmobiling, to serve the interests of snowmobile owners, to develop spirit among local snowmobile and winter enthusiasts. Maintaining 48 miles of trails along New York Snowmobile Corridors C-4 and C-5 in the towns of Albion, Orwell, Williamstown and Richland. For more information CLICK HERE.
This will be the shortest morning blog of the year. Possibly of the entire time Upstate Snow has been on in over 13 years. Here is the deal: Rain changes to snow tonight. Snow will be heaviest overnight and during the morning tomorrow. It tapers off tomorrow afternoon and is fine by tomorrow night. Areas closer to the lakes will have more moisture flow and therefore heavier snows. While I don’t expect many to hit double digits, it is definitely enough for Winter Weather Advisories. It will be enough to shovel and snow plow in many areas.

Here is what we are looking at. Not much more after that until the second half of the weekend and heading closer to MLK Day. We have plenty of time to refine that forecast.
